Technical
We offer methyl bromide, sulfuryl fluoride ( ProFume & Vikane ) and phosphine treatments depending on the type of cargo and destination. Fumigations are performed weekly for exports of machinery, ag and non agricultural vehicles, grains, logs and household effects being shipped to Chile, Australia, New Zealand, China, India, the EU and Sri Lanka. Phytosanitary certificates are available for fumigations supervised by the Los Angeles county agricultural department when required by the importing country.
Treatment Methods
Methyl Bromide
Used for both fresh produce import quarantine treatments and export fumigations. Methyl bromide is effective against a wide range of pests and is the standard treatment for many export destinations.
Sulfuryl Fluoride ( ProFume & Vikane )
An alternative fumigation treatment used for non-agricultural exports and BMSB seasonal requirements. Sulfuryl fluoride is approved for various cargo types and destinations.
Phosphine
Primarily used for agricultural exports including grains, seeds, and other stored products. Phosphine treatment is effective for bulk commodity fumigation.
